We are excited to announce that we have roasted our first batch of organic Arabica coffee beans cultivated on our farm. The coffee trees were planted beneath the shade of large trees. One area with Arabica coffee trees is thriving particularly well, as it is directly under the shade of a massive acacia tree.
The beans were carefully picked, dried, cleaned, and finally roasted in a small batch of 200 mg to a medium-dark roast. We then brewed an initial batch, which had a delightful rich aroma. We plan to occasionally offer our own coffee to our Strutz Art Café customers and hotel guests as long as our supply permits.
Abra coffee is gaining recognition in the Philippines as a developing local industry, especially for its high-value specialty coffee and as part of the Cordillera region's agricultural output. We are already serving "Abra coffee" to our guests at the hotel and Strutz Art Café, as it is an excellent coffee and also to promote the local industry. Now, we can support this initiative by occasionally offering our own artisanally produced coffee.
