It is fiesta season in Abra!
Each municipality of Abra is celebrating their fiesta.
The Bangued Dapil Festival has already begun.
The Kawayan Festival is a celebration of the founding anniversary of Abra as an independent province. Kawayan means bamboo. Bamboo is showcased as a wonderful and traditional building material that grows in abundance in Abra. There will be many interesting activities, such as shows, dance competitions, music performances, beauty pageants, a trade fair and a parade. Many of the floats in this spectacular parade are built with bamboo. The main day of the Kawayan festival is March 9, every year. It will start in the beginning of March. We will inform here when we get more information.
