Strutz Art Café opened on November 8, 2014. We are thankful for the wonderful journey we had. We were able to serve premium coffee, smoothies and other drinks with home made cakes and pastry to many Abrenians and visitors to Abra. One of the highlights was the event "Meet the Artist" on Dec. 28, 2014, when the artist, Theo Strutz came with his wife Marianne to Bangued and explained his art in the Strutz Art Cafe. After many years of faithfully serving our customers, the Corona pandemic struck. After reopening and trying to run it as good as we could, we decided to close the café at the current location in Zone 1 and to move it to its sister company, the Strutz Art Garden Resort. Currently the new café building is under construction. We will keep the proven interior design in a larger space, albeit it will come with an outside terrace and a view on the wonderful garden of Strutz Art Garden Resort. Once it is reopened in 2024, it will continue to serve our café customers and the hotel guests alike premium coffee, drinks, home baked cakes and pastry in a beautiful new space. Happy Anniversary!
